Meet Our Team! Chris Cole: Journeyman
How long have you worked at Soep?
Just about two years now.
What do you feel is unique about working at Soep?
I think what is unique about working at Soep are the opportunities that we are given to try new things and learn different aspects of the trade. Also how we are able to work together as a team to complete the task at hand.
What is the most memorable project you’ve been involved with at Soep?
The most memorable project for me was the TD Garden. Being able to work on something so iconic in the City of Boston was pretty incredible.
How is your role critical to the strategic vision and success of Soep?
I feel my role is critical because I’m taking everything that I learn with the intention of passing it on and teaching the next generation. We’re setting ourselves up for continued success in the future. Truthfully though, everyone’s role is critical to the future success of Soep.
What is the most satisfying aspect of your job?
The most satisfying aspect of the job to me is watching a project all come together at the end and knowing that all the hard work we have put in has paid off.
Finish the sentence. When I’m not at work you’ll find me…
You would find me hanging out with friends or just relaxing and enjoying time with family.
Which of Soep’s Core Values do you feel is the most critical to the company’s success?
I believe they are all critical to our success but the one that stands out the most to me is Positivity. We have to maintain positive attitudes to be able to work through obstacles and act as a team to reach our goals.
What has it been like returning to work these past few weeks?
Returning to work is pretty much the same as any other day. We continue to maintain the safety protocols that are put in place and we're doing everything we can to keep ourselves and everyone around us safe at all times.
