How long have you worked at Soep?

I have worked at SOEP for three years.

What do you feel is unique about working at Soep?

Working for SOEP has been a great experience. In my opinion the most unique thing about working for SOEP is the family-like atmosphere. It’s rare that you find and get to be a part of a company that is so driven to succeed and still treats everyone with respect.

What is the most memorable project you’ve been involved with at Soep?

The most memorable project I’ve worked on while working for SOEP was Norwood Electric Light. This job was the first job I did from start to finish.

How is your role critical to the strategic vision and success of Soep? I feel my role at Soep is critical because as an apprentice we are constantly learning and building our skill sets. I try to complete every job efficiently while striving to meet or exceed expectations.

What is the most satisfying aspect of your job?

The most satisfying aspect of my job is the feeling of accomplishment after successfully completing the work that I do. Seeing the job through from start to finish and being able to look at the completed project is the most rewarding part of my job.

Which of Soep’s Core values do you feel is the most critical to the company‘s success?

It’s hard to chose which of the Core Values is most important. They all play a significant role in the success of the company. I think if I had to pick one, I would chose Team Player. Without the continued efforts of everyone as a team, we wouldn’t be able to complete our projects to the standard that we pride ourselves on.

What has it been like returning to work with new safety protocols?

Returning to work post-pandemic has not been much different. Jobs have been very clean and Soep itself has taken the all the correct precautions to keep the team as safe as possible.
